Short Term Goals for Studio Sparrow

GOAL 1:

Successful Completion of First Year Conservatory Curriculum, to begin in August 2027, defined by minimum 3.0 grade average per student, and each student showcasing a measured improvement as a performing artist, defined by successful implementation of various acting and performance methodologies in a rehearsal/performance setting. Metrics will include anonymous grade data for the cohort, and written evaluations of each student by Conservatory Director with names protected.

GOAL 2:

Successful Production of a 5 Show Season (3 classics, 1 Musical, 1 new work), defined by audience attendance of 500 members of the public per run, and at least 100 high school students per run of each age-appropriate show. Free Dallas/Irving/Ft Worth ISD Student Shows. Low cost of $10 tickets for the general public, eliminating barriers to attending theater. 1 pay-what-you-can performance per week per show.

GOAL 3:

Successful retention of Conservatory Students and signed commitment to return for second year, defined by retention of all 20 first-years. Recruitment of the next class defined by 20 new student slots filled and signed commitments.

GOAL 4:

Successful implementation of the Studio Sparrow Summer Play Festival (2 shows in rep), defined by audience attendance of 500 members of the public per run, and successful casting of a minimum of 5 conservatory students as summer company members earning their equity weeks.

GOAL 5:

Successful audience engagement and feedback, measured by talkback conversations, at least 20 audience feedback/suggestion submissions per show via the portal on our website, and attendance data from our ticketing platform detailing both public and school performances.
