DEFINING SUCCESS
Success is a funny word. Primarily, we would define it by looking at how much our students will grow as artists.
The other metrics by which we would define success at the end of a one year period:
-Completion of the first year of conservatory curriculum.
-The production of our Inaugural season.
-Successful mentorship between Resident Artists/Industry Professionals and Students.
-The return commitment of our first year cohort for their second year.
-Recruitment of the next class.
-Successful Summer Rep
-Robust engagement with DFW audiences in the form of attendance, both the Public and School Shows.
-Successful talkbacks after the school shows.
Long term:
-Continuing consistent Conservatory growth.
-Data of our alumni and where they work. If they get jobs as artists, we are successful.
-A Deep partnership with local theaters, educational institutions, and artists.
-Electric theater that provokes conversation and celebration.
-Opportunities for our students to work nationally.
-Opportunities for our students to “get in the room” by bringing national auditions to them. Sharing this opportunity with the local artists as well.
